India's beloved sitar master Ravi Shankar is profiled in a two-part presentation that combines documentary-style coverage of two years in his life (as he travels between India and America) and archive footage from the 1930s through the '60s. Highlighting Shankar's collaborations with Western musicians including George Harrison, John Coltrane and Yehudi Menuhin, the presentation also features Shankar performing two ragas with his daughter in 2002.
