Resumen:
Ballet has always been one of Russia's most cultivated art forms. This part of the ESSENTIAL BALLET video series focuses on this phenomenon, showcasing many of the great Russian ballet dancers of the twentieth century with two spectacular programs. The first was filmed at London's Royal Opera Covent Garden in 1992, where the Kirov Ballet performed selections from EUGENE ONEGIN, SWAN LAKE, NUTCRACKER and many other classics for the likes of Princess Diana. The second performance took place at Moscow's gorgeous Red Square, where selections from SLEEPING BEAUTY, GISELLE, DON QUIXOTE and others were dance.
